Nirvana- Band Shot (HFL0629)
Kurt Cobain , Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear: these are the mythic member of grunge rock band Nirvana. This legendary rock band born in Seattle in early 1980s, published his first album, Bleach, for the independent record label “Sub Pop” in 1989. Two years later the rock band published the bestseller “Nervermind” that became the flagship of generation X. This album outmached Dangerous album of Micheal Jackson at number one US Billboard 200 chart. The last album In Utero reached number one in US Billboard 200 chart september 1993 and was soon acclaimed by the critic. Kurt Cobain died in 5 april 1994 under mysterious circumstances. With the others member of the band was inducted posthoumous in rock ‘n roll hall of fame in 2014.

there are various theories behind the origin of Nirvana’s Smiley logo that appeared in 1991 in occasion of the relase party Nevermind in 1991.
Another theory tell us that this logo was probably inspired by the strip club logo “The Lusty Lady” in the downtown of Seattle. Someone says that this symbole is inspired by another logo named acid house.
